Sango Safari Camp Description
Nestled under a canopy of trees, Sango Safari Camp overlooks the Khwai River. There are six Meru style rustic safari tents built on raised decks to enhance the view. Each tent is en-suite with open air bucket showers and rustic African style décor.
The main area at Sango Safari camp is a large safari tent that houses the lounge with comfortable sofas and armchairs, a bar counter and the long dining table. There is a small swimming pool with sun loungers that overlooks the floodplain. There is also a hide a bit away from camp that has been built on a raised platform. Guests can enjoy a quiet game watching moment here.
Sango Safari Camp Game Viewing and Wildlife Activities
The Khwai River forms a natural border between the Moremi Game Reserve and the Khwai Concession, this allows for the animals to travel freely between the reserves. Sango Safari Camp is positioned on the river overlooking the Moremi, with right of entry to both these magnificent wildlife areas. The area offers a blend of open grasslands, seasonal floodplains and the permanent water of the Khwai River system. These areas bring a diversity of habitat that supports a variety of wildlife unmatched in Northern Botswana. The camp is focused on delivering extraordinary wildlife encounters – allowing guests to take advantage of a multitude of wildlife activities including; open vehicle game drives in Moremi and the Khwai area, guided bush walking safaris and night drives. Guests are also able to enjoy a cultural activity by visiting the local Khwai Village, where guests can learn about growing up and living in one of the best wildlife areas in world!
