Little Kwara has a sparkling plunge pool and inviting lounge area, all with amazing views of the surrounding water ways.
Little Kwara Camp Game Viewing and Wildlife Activities
The Delta is world renowned for its biodiversity and contrasts. The area offers spectacular scenery with scattered herds of plains game and predators. Due to the labyrinth of waterways, islands, seasonal flood plains and bush, Little Kwara is always interesting and varied. Night drives are a highlight and up to 30% of interesting mammal species are mainly active at night. These include leopard, lion, wild dog, hyena and smaller predators.
Little Kwara offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a diverse wildlife experience all year- round with the emphasis on water activities. The presence of permanent water at Little Kwara ensures excellent year-round game viewing. The permanent water also ensures that mokoro trips (dugout canoes) can take place in shallow water throughout the year. Guests can also visit the famous Godikwe lagoon in the Moremi Game Reserve where guests can enjoy close up viewing of thousands of herons, storks and other nesting birds. Boat cruises, fishing, guided bush walks as well as morning and evening game drives are also available.
