Camp Description
Pom Pom Camp consists of nine luxury canvas safari tents with en-suite facilities which are semi open. The main building is designed to blend in with the environment and constructed of thatch and canvas and consists of a lounge, dining, bar and pool area, as well as a gift shop and a boma area. One of the tents enjoys a private bush bath located on a secluded deck in-front of the luxury tent. One family safari tent that can accommodate four guests; with en-suite facilities in close proximity to the main lodge.
Game Viewing
The Okavango Delta is renowned to offer some of the best game viewing on the planet. Activities include game drives, night drives, mokoro excursions and guided bush walks. The area offers incredible game viewing and all game activities will be accompanied by experienced and professional guides. Guests can expect to see all the major predators, like lion, leopard, hyena, wild dog, crocodile as well as a variety of big game. The area has an abundance of elephant as well as hippo, buffalo and plains game including impala and lechwe as well as giraffe, zebra and wildebeest. The bird life is prolific. Nocturnal animals such as serval, civet and genet may also be seen on night drives.

How to Get there
ExpertBotswana can arrange flights to Botswana from Johannesburg or Cape Town into Maun or Kasane, where most safaris start and end. Transfers from Maun/Kasane are done by light aircraft into the camps. Inter-camp transfers are done by light aircraft. Guests will fly into the camp's airstrip where they will be met by their guide and vehicle for their road transfer into the camp.
Child Policy
Children of 8 years and older are welcome at Pom Pom camp. Parties with children between the ages of 8 years and 12 years have to book a private vehicle.
Electricity
No electricity available, lighting is provided by means of paraffin lamps.
Malaria
Malaria is found in the central, western and northern areas of Botswana.
