The camp is set under a canopy of aged indigenous leadwood and fig trees, overlooking the Kwai River Floodplain.

The exceptional location of Khwai makes it a regular host to Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Wild Dogs. Birdlife can also be viewed in abundance with exceptional sightings of wildfowl and raptors near the lodge.
Wildlife Activities
- Activities at the camp include morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 Land Cruisers, as well as after-dark spotlight game drives.
- Cultural visits to a local village can also be arranged, as well as guided safari walks along the hippo-populated Khwai River.
How to Get there
ExpertBotswana can arrange flights to Botswana from Johannesburg or Cape Town into Maun or Kasane, where most safaris start and end. Transfers from Maun/Kasane are done by light aircraft into the camps Inter-camp transfers are done by light aircraft, road, boat or mekoro.
