Camp Description
The Selinda Spillway runs through a secluded part of northern Botswana. Equipment will be carried on the canoes with to the camp site which will be of a rustic nature. The dome tents have been selected for their practicality as well as comfort and safety. The tents include comfortable bedrolls and quality linen. There will be enough chairs for guests to sit around a camp-fire at night and lunch will be provided along the way. Meals are prepared on the fire by the cook to enhance that 'old school' traditional camping experience. The ablution facilities will be bucket showers with hot water in the evenings and 'long drop' toilet and a shovel. Guests need to bring their own flashlights and due to the remoteness and nature of this trail, there will be no charging facilities available; this can only be done at Selinda of Zarafa if the guest is staying on.
