Camp Description
The Zambezi Queen offers guests 10 suites and 4 master suites. All suites and master suites offer en-suite facilities with private balconies, king size beds (can be requested and divided into twin beds), and are furnished to the highest level. Two of the four Master Suites have their own private deck with outdoor furniture and the remaining two offer magnificent views with doors and windows on two sides. Rooms accommodate 2 guests only per room. Facilities include full length sliding shutters for both privacy and protection from the sun, sliding mosquito net doors, floor mounted fans in all suites; master suites are air-conditioned and private safes are provided.

The Chobe National Park is renowned for its diverse and prolific wildlife. It is home to large herds of elephant, buffalo and hippo, as well as concentrations of other wildlife, including giraffe, sable, wild dog, lion and other predators, that come down to the rivers edge to drink, graze and hunt. This area is an untouched water wilderness sanctuary; ideal for guests looking for a quiet retreat, where game and bird life flourish undisturbed under the protection of the Chobe National Park. Activities include water-based game viewing on smaller boats which enables close-up viewing in an environment where the animals do not feel threatened, Tiger and bream fishing in season and Bird watching from smaller boats.

How to Get there
ExpertBotswana can arrange flights to Botswana from Johannesburg or Cape Town into Maun or Kasane, where most safaris start and end. Transfers from Maun/Kasane are done by light aircraft into the camps. Transfers from Victoria Falls airport to the boat are done by road and takes approximately 90 minutes. Road transfer guests will be collected from immigration situated on the banks of the river at Kasane in Botswana for the 10 minute boat transfer to the docking station.
Child Policy
Children of 8 years and older accompanied by an adult over the age of 21 years are welcome on The Zambezi Queen. Please note that there is no discount for children.
Malaria
Malaria is found in the central, western and northern areas of Botswana.
