Camp Description

Linyanti Bush Camp is small and intimate and can cater for a maximum of 12 guests only offering a private and personal safari experience. Linyanti Bush Camp offers 6 spacious, en-suite tents. The lounge and dining room area offers comfortable chairs, a small bar, library and a collection of interesting antiques. The guiding is of very high quality and the camp offers delicious cuisine.

Game Viewing

The Linyanti Swamps are one of the most spectacular areas in the park as it is the only source of water during the dry months where a lot of the wildlife moves to, hence offering a great diversity of game. The area's relative remoteness makes it an ideal safari destination. The area around Linyanti Bush Camp is known for its large populations of elephant and buffalo. Guests can expect to see lion, sable, roan, leopard, wild dog, and a number of plains game, the rare and elusive sitatunga antelope, red lechwe, hippo and crocodile can be found in the surrounding marshes. The area also offers spectacular birding all year round.

How to Get there

ExpertBotswana can arrange flights to Botswana from Johannesburg or Cape Town into Maun or Kasane, where most safaris start and end. Transfers from Maun/Kasane are done by light aircraft into the camps. Inter-camp transfers are done by light aircraft. Guests will fly into the camp's airstrip and then transferred by road to the camp.

Child Policy

Children of 10 years and older are accepted at Linyanti Bush Camp and will be at the manager's discretion at the time of reservation. No special activities, equipment or services are offered for children. It is recommended that exclusive use of camp is booked for families with children.

Electricity

Power is supplied by means of a generator.

Malaria is found in the central, western and northern areas of Botswana.
